Oh life, you are blooming like a flower!
Life is all about living to its fullest potential – not leaving
any unused. It is all about the highs, the lows and everything else in between.
Recognising, acknowledging, accepting and appreciating ourselves as we are is
one of the most important things to live life to it’s fullest potential. Accepting ourselves doesn’t
just mean that we superficially pamper ourselves with our likes and dislikes;
it means that we wholeheartedly accept, appreciate and acknowledge for being what
we are. It is unfortunate that we resist ourselves more than anything. We fail
to put ourselves first, we fail to accept ourselves without change, amendments
and makeup.
Are we impartial in our lives? Definitely not, we judge
things, people, situations to the core – we
justify our likes and dislikes. We fail to respond and
reflect like a mirror, however, we react to the core. To judge is to punish, it
is violence; we need to learn to respond impartially. What this means is that
it is to accept things as they unfold without reacting, putting any label –
just as blessings.
We are always our own best friend or worst enemy. In
fact, if we paid attention to the attitude we have towards ourselves on a daily
basis we would be shocked. We live to prove the fact that we are our own worst
enemy. Our capital investment to live this life is insecurity, fear and a sense
of inadequacy. Understanding and coming to the realization that we are alright,
adequate and total and that we are acceptable, loveable and beautiful as we are
is a very freeing feeling, and one that will help us to live life to the
fullest. We are complete, full of blessings - it all in us and waiting
to be expressed. We are total and complete person, second to none.
Connecting our happiness, sense of fullness to the
outcome or results will cause us to forever be chasing happiness – in a process
of becoming. We fail to appreciate the cause, living in every moment. Happiness
comes to those the ones who have learnt to be happy in the present moment,
rather than waiting for something to happen in the future of fear, hurt and
guilt of the past. We are that happiness that we have been chasing. When we
deserve to be eternally happy, why do we punish ourselves – Whole life is an
identity crisis.
What is preventing us from aligning with the true essence
of ourselves, the more we align, the more will unfold. Discovering our true
nature is one of the most rewarding things we can know in life, however it’s
not something that requires a map – need just an inner journey. Instead of
pursuing something, it is wise to focus on being true to our true-self; focusing
on being who we truly, purely are without fear of judgement and insecurity. Living
life to the fullest truly starts with appreciating and accepting the fullness
of our being and who we truly are. When we love ourselves, accept ourselves, honour
and respect ourselves, and know that we are complete without any addition or deletion
is all it takes.
